Helen Beal is the founder and Chief Flow:er at Flowtopia and leads the community and ambassador programs at PeopleCert for DevOps Institute, ITIL, PRINCE2, and LanguageCert. She is an adjunct research analyst for IDC and a writer and speaker on DevOps, AI, and value stream-related topics at industry conferences and corporate events.

She is the lead researcher behind the State of VSM Reports and the State of Availability Report, and a co-author of the IT Revolution title, Investments Unlimited.

She is a consultant, coach, and strategic advisor for companies large and small, all of whom align with her mission to bring joy to work through fast, frictionless flow and exceptionally delightful customer experiences.

She regularly appears in TechBeacon’s DevOps Top100 lists, was recognized as the Top DevOps Evangelist 2020 in the DevOps Dozen awards, and was a finalist for Computing DevOps Excellence Awards’ DevOps Professional of the Year 2021.
